David began to dance at the age of 4.  His first competition as a Juvenile was at 5 years of age.  For some reason dance stayed in David's blood all through his school years through high school and college.  Winning his first World Championship as a child of ten years old only pushed him harder to dance for his entire life.  From the age of 4 until he was 21 David competed all over Europe and the World representing his country.  David danced for the British Ballroom Dance Latin American Elite a team for five years from 16 to 21.  The high light of his amateur dance years was making the semi final of the Open British Amateur Latin American Dance Championships and the quarter final (Last 24) of the Amateur Standard Championships.

At 21 David began studying under the guidance of Michael Houseman and Valerie Waite (Houseman) for his professional qualifications.  He qualified in International Standard and Latin American with the National Society of Dance Teachers, London England.  At this point David moved to America and began working in the Boston area and worked for a couple of studios until he was introduced the Arthur Murray International Studios.  He grew up very fast and enjoyed the challenges that and English boy in America can meet.  He travelled all over the country competing with students in the Pro-Am section.  He also won the Arthur Murray International Showdance Championships held in Atlantic City.

David began to study for his professional qualifications in the USA with Joyce Brampton.  He passed all four styles, American Smooth and Rhythm and International Style Standard and Latin with the N.D.C.A.  (The National Dance Council of America).  Also at this time he qualified with Arthur Murray Dance Studios, also in all four Styles.

A new chapter has unfolded for David.  After taking over ten years off to run his own studio in Florida with his partner, Danny Landerman they moved back to Danny's home town of Laval, Montreal at the end of 2009.  In 2010 David joined Arthur Murray's Laval.  He is now a registered Consultant, Examiner and Judge for Arthur Murray International.  David is looking forward to his new chapter in his dance life in Canada and at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Laval, QUEBEC......
